Our family continually thanks God for Dr. Zeff and the staff and Salmon Creek Clinic. Dr. Zeff is a wonderful physician whose expert care has greatly improved our lives. In 2006, my husband was told that he would drop from a heart attack and was prepared for open-heart surgery. When the surgeon performed the angiogram they found that his heart was amazingly clean and beautiful, but they could not account for his erratic heart rhythms and coupled with his high blood pressure they were perplexed. 18 months after my husbands heart scare a different member of our family was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This situation brought us to the Salmon Creek Clinic, both of them were tested and treated by Dr. Zeff and within 6 months my husband’s heart rhythms normalized, his snoring ceased and his blood pressure dropped. As for the type 1, after two weeks, insulin was no longer necessary and it has now been nearly two years of being insulin free. Thank you Dr. Zeff for your amazing care.

My daughter, Maria, was diagnosed at the age of 5 with Psoriasis, an auto-immune skin disorder. I am a registered nurse, and her first six months of treatment consisted solely of typical western medicines. Basically, steroid after steroid of increasing potency to the point of reaching dangerous levels. Since steroids alone were not able to manage her skin lesions the next step would be Methotrexate, a “cancer drug”. I knew then, there had to be another way, “a better way” to help my daughter. I came across a book written by a Chiropractor; in it was plan for healing Psoriasis through “natural alternatives”. This book opened my eyes to the world of holistic medicine. Dr. Zeff came highly recommended by a few healthcare providers as the “man to see” to guide me in my quest to treat my daughter through natural ways.
Dr. Zeff worked closely with Maria, for a few months. The first thing he did was a FIT, food intolerance test. This test objectively told us what foods were difficult for Maria to digest and therefore placed undue demands on her body that left it unable to adequately defend itself against disease or maintain health. Once we cleaned up her diet, her Psoriasis improved considerably, but not altogether. As a result of Dr. Zeff’s thorough exams and experience; he prescribed various herbal medicines/natural supplements that would further help her little body strengthen its defenses and ultimately restore health and balance.
After seeing how well Maria responded to his treatments, I had our whole family of 10, tested for food intolerances. It’s been an ongoing journey for us to eat healthier. Along the way, the staff of Salmon Creek Clinic has been invaluable in helping us figure it out. Over the past two years Dr. Zeff has treated every member of my and we now consider him our family doctor. Gone are the days that I would run to the pediatrician for antibiotics at every sign of fever or pop a Tylenol.

Words alone cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Zeff. He has changed my life and put my health into my hands again.
When I first came to see Dr. Zeff, I was pretty sick. I knew I had food intolerances, but I guessed the wrong food, which was only making me sicker. I now know that I am not wheat intolerant, but potato (which they have been using unlabeled in wheat products). I had an underactive thyroid that I had been begging my old doctors to give me a better medication for, but they said it was all in my head. Dr. Zeff has put me on a thyroid medication that actually works! It has increased my energy, cleared my foggy brain and helped me to be able to function again. He has helped me decrease my stress reaction, so that I am able to deal with stressful situations without the feeling of overwhelm that I used to carry around with me. Dr. Zeff has actually listened to me and my body to put me on the path to recovery. What is left is within my power change, mostly my diet, and I am working on that everyday, but it is nice to know that I have someone who is helping me.

Two years ago, our 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with Hereditary Pancreatitis. We found ourselves in and out of the hospital three times in two and half months (staying a week each time). Treatment for Pancreatitis is morphine for pain along with an IV drip until you are able to eat again. There was no explanation from the doctors whether traditional procedures for prancreatitis could actually prevent the cycle from continuing every month. We watched our healthy 14 year old become a frail, sick, depleted young lady. Our daughter had been diagnosed with one of the rarest hereditary mutations doctors had discovered in dealing with pancreatitis. We were desperate! Despite our desperation to help our daughter, we still continued to have a level of skepticism in the area of ‘alternative’ medicine. The natural alternative was a difficult decision to turn to, especially when we knew the seriousness of our daughter’s condition. Nonetheless, we contacted Dr. Zeff. Dr Zeff saw our daughter immediately. From that day, our daughter has not experienced pancreatitis and has become a healthy, active 16 year old teenager. About 12 years ago, my husband Lynn, was diagnosed with CMML (leukemia). We first started with conventional doctors, we were told that he had two years to live and that that there was nothing curative available. Every time that we visited the Oncology office we were reminded that this was terminal.
In 1998, my daughter did a lot of research and found Dr. Zeff. He had been working successfully with cancer patients and there were articles written about him. We had never had any experience with Naturopathic Medicine and Lynn was very cautious! When Dr. Zeff read Lynn’s lab test, his first words were, “I think that we can work with this!” Hope! These were the first positive words that we had heard. Dr. Zeff did not make any promises, but, we feel that he gave us his full concentration on what to do to improve Lynn’s health. He spent countless hours with our family, and we are so appreciative of his genuine care. Lynn began to feel better and really got encouraged. We know that the positive care really made a difference on his immune system. Lynn really had complete confidence in Dr. Zeff. When any symptoms came up Lynn wanted to talk to Dr. Zeff first. Dr. Zeff told us that he is available at any time and when there was a crisis, which we had a few of, he was accessible even on his vacations! (That meant so much to us!) We lost Lynn 6 weeks ago, but, we had 12 years (10 years more than we were told at the beginning by his oncologist). Lynn’s medical doctors were amazed at how well he did for so long, often asking what he was doing since his case was so unusual!
We feel so indebted to Dr. Zeff. We know that God planned that our paths cross at this important time. Dr. Zeff is truly more than a doctor, but a compassionate healer.

There has never been a Doctor that shows such care for his patience. I suffer from Kidney Failure and Congestive Heart Failure and it can be very discouraging but Dr. Zeff always makes me see the positive and I go away from his treatments ready to fight again. His care and consideration has twice brought him all the way to my house, which is not close, inorder to give me a treatment. When I couldn’t bereath because of fluid build up he didn’t hesitate but came out and gave me an acupunture treatment at home. Which got me through the week Ineeded to wait for the hospital procedure. This type of caring is rare indeed. I would highly recommend his services to any and all.
